Caramel Cold Brew Recipe

100+ ideas

If you're a fan of the Starbucks caramel cold brew, you have to try this at-home recipe. It's made with caramel coffee beans and salted sweet cream cold foam.

Here's what you'll need...

You'll Need:

– 1 cup coarsely ground caramel flavored coffee beans – 3 cups cool water

You'll Need:

– 2 ounces heavy cream – 1 ounce 2% milk – ¾ ounce simple syrup divided – ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt

Equipment:

- 32 ounce mason jar - Coffee filter - Mesh strainer

Instructions:

Add ground caramel flavored coffee beans and water to a 32 ounce glass jar. Stir or shake to combine until all the grounds are fully covered with water. Screw on the glass jar lid.

Set glass jar in the refrigerator to steep for 18 hours. Place a mesh strainer lined with a coffee filter over a medium-sized bowl. Pour the brewed coffee into the coffee filter and allow to slowly strain.

This may take up to 15 minutes. Discard the coffee grounds in the trash can (not down a garbage disposal).

Add heavy cream, 2% milk, and ¼ ounce simple syrup to a high powdered blender. Blend for 45 seconds until a thick foam has formed.

To serve, add ½ cup ice, 4 ounces caramel cold brew coffee, and the remaining ½ ounce simple syrup to a glass. Top with cold foam mixture.
