On The Rocks Daiquiri
Add rum, simple syrup, coconut milk, orange juice, and lime juice to a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until well chilled, about 30 seconds.
Double strain using a hawthorne and mesh strainer into a chilled glass. Optionally garnish with a twist of lime.
Frozen Daiquiri
Add the rum, simple syrup, coconut milk, orange juice, lime juice, and 2 cups of ice to a high powered blender. Blend on high until a slushie consistency forms.
Pour into a chilled glass. Optionally garnish with a twist of lime.
To chill your cocktail glass, place it in the freezer for 30 - 45 minutes before mixing up the drink. This will ensure your cocktail stays super cold. Don't skip this step if you're making the frozen coconut daiquiri version. It will prevent it from melting as quickly.
