Crispy pork gyros are a great option for an easy, weeknight version of your favorite Greek food. They're made with crispy pork & fresh vegetables, all on a soft, warm pita.

- 5 cups pork shoulder cooked, shredded
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon dried parsley
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup tzatziki homemade or store bought
- ¾ cup red onion thinly sliced
- 1 seedless cucumber thinly sliced
- 1 ½ cups cherry tomatoes sliced in half
- 8 pita or naan
Preheat oven to 400 °F.
Mix spices in a small bowl. Toss spices and pork together.
Spread pork on a sheet pan. Cook for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, chop the vegetables.
Once pork is complete, broil for an additional 1-3 minutes until the outside of the pork becomes crispy.
Heat the pita up in the oven or toaster oven. Assemble the gyros beginning with tzatziki, shredded pork, and chopped vegetables.
