20 Father's Day Shots

Celebrate your dad with some fun shooters! From mini beers to whiskey shots and everything in between, grab some drinks with your favorite guy.

1. Dad Bod Bomb

Ingredients:

• ½ ounce (15 ml) Irish cream liqueur
• ½ ounce (15 ml) Irish whiskey
• 12 ounces (355 ml) Guinness stout

Instructions:

1. Pour Irish cream and Irish whiskey into a shot glass. Fill a highball glass with Guinness stout beer. When you're ready to drink, drop the shot glass into the glass filled with Guinness.

3. The Handyman

Ingredients:

• ¼ ounce (7 ml) Jack Daniel’s whiskey
• ¼ ounce (7 ml) Jim Beam bourbon
• ¼ ounce (7 ml) Johnnie Walker black scotch
• ¼ ounce (7 ml) Irish whiskey

Instructions:

1. Add Jack Daniel’s whiskey, Jim Beam bourbon, Johnnie Walker scotch, and Irish whiskey to a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass.

4. Lawn Mower Fuel

Ingredients:

• ¼ ounce (7 ml) Crown Royal whisky
• ¼ ounce (7 ml) peach schnapps
• ¼ ounce (7 ml) Malibu rum
• ¼ ounce (7 ml) Red Bull energy drink

Instructions:

1. Add Crown Royal, peach schnapps, and Malibu rum in a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass. Top with Red Bull.

5. The Family Man

Ingredients:

• ¾ ounce (22 ml) amaretto liqueur
• ¼ ounce (7 ml) overproof rum
• 8 ounces (235 ml) beer (any variety will work)

Instructions:

1. Pour the amaretto into a shot glass. Using a bar spoon, layer overproof rum on top. Fill a highball glass with beer. When you're ready to drink, carefully light the liquor in the shot glass. Blow out the flame before dropping the shot glass into the glass filled with beer.

6. Papa Bear

Ingredients:

• ¾ ounce (22 ml) chilled Sambuca
• ¾ ounce (22 ml) chilled blanco tequila
• 6 dashes hot sauce

Instructions:

1. Pour Sambuca in the bottom of a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass. Using a bar spoon, layer tequila on top followed by hot sauce.

7. The After Work

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ ounces (45 ml) sake
• 6 ounces (175 ml) Lager beer

Instructions:

1. Pour the sake into a shot glass. Fill a highball glass with Lager beer. When you're ready to drink, drop the shot glass into the glass filled with beer.

8. Classic Pop

Ingredients:

• 1 ounce (30 ml) peanut butter whiskey
• ½ ounce (15 ml) grape liqueur

Instructions:

1. Add peanut butter whiskey and grape liqueur in a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass.

9. Dad's Apple Pie

Ingredients:

• 1 ounce (30 ml) cinnamon whiskey
• ½ ounce (15 ml) apple cider
• Dash of lemon juice

Instructions:

1. Add cinnamon whiskey, apple cider, and a dash of lemon juice to a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass.

10. Dad Joke Juice

Ingredients:

• 1 ounce (30 ml) orange juice
• 1 ounce (30 ml) light rum
• 1 ounce (30 ml) vodka
• ½ ounce (15 ml) whiskey

Instructions:

1. Add orange juice, rum, vodka, and whiskey in a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a rocks shot glass.

11. The Fire Pit

Ingredients:

• 1 ounce (30 ml) whiskey
• 8 ounces (235 ml) beer

Instructions:

1. Pour whiskey into a shot glass. Fill a highball glass with beer. When you're ready to drink, drop the shot glass into the glass filled with beer.

12. Toolbox Twist

Ingredients:

• ½ ounce (15 ml) chilled coffee liqueur
• ½ ounce (15 ml) chilled Irish cream liqueur
• ½ ounce (15 ml) chilled Grand Marnier

Instructions:

1. Pour coffee liqueur in the bottom of a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass. Using a bar spoon, layer Irish cream on top, followed by Grand Marnier.

13. The Tie Loosener

Ingredients:

• ½ ounce (15 ml) Crown Royal whisky
• 1 ounce (30 ml) watermelon pucker
• 3 ounces (90 ml) chilled Red Bull energy drink

Instructions:

1. Add Crown Royal whisky and watermelon pucker in a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a rocks glass. Top with Red Bull.

14. The Power Drill

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ ounce (45 ml) gin
• ¾ ounce (22 ml) scotch
• Lemon twist, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

1. Add gin and scotch in a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass. Optionally, garnish with a lemon twist.

15. Red Snapper

Ingredients:

• ½ ounce (15 ml) Canadian whisky
• ½ ounce (15 ml) amaretto liqueur
• ½ ounces (15 ml) cranberry juice

Instructions:

1. Add Canadian whisky, amaretto, and cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass.

16. Motor Oil

Ingredients:

• 1 ounce (30 ml) Jägermeister
• ½ ounce (15 ml) peppermint schnapps
• ½ ounce (15 ml) cinnamon schnapps
• ½ ounce (15 ml) coconut rum

Instructions:

1. Add Jägermeister, peppermint schnapps, cinnamon schnapps, and coconut rum in a cocktail shaker filled partway with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass.

17. Mini Beer

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ ounces (45 ml) chilled Licor 43
• ½ ounce (15 ml) cold heavy cream

Instructions:

1. Pour Licor 43 in the bottom of a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass. Using a bar spoon, layer heavy cream on top.

18. Bourbon Boss

Ingredients:

• ½ ounce (15 ml) Bacardi 151 rum
• ½ ounce (15 ml) Wild Turkey bourbon whiskey

Instructions:

1. Place Bacardi 151 rum and Wild Turkey bourbon whiskey in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled, then strain into a shot glass.

19. Mr. Fix It

Ingredients:

• ½ ounce (15 ml) chilled coffee liqueur
• ½ ounce (15 ml) chilled vodka
• ½ ounce (15 ml) chilled club soda

Instructions:

1. Pour coffee liqueur in the bottom of a 2-ounce (60 ml) shot glass. Using a bar spoon, layer vodka on top, then club soda.

20. Dad Fuel

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ ounce (45 ml) Jägermeister
• 1 can (8.4 ounces or 248 ml) Red Bull energy drink

Instructions:

1. Pour Jägermeister into a shot glass. Fill a highball glass with Red Bull energy drink. When you're ready to drink, drop the shot glass into the glass filled with Red Bull.
